***Security Clearance Required: Secret Clearance***Primary Responsibilities:This position will provide project analyst and administrative support to the UMCS Architecture and Modeling Team. Primary responsibilities are to support and coordinate with AIRWorks UMCS engineers, program managers, and stakeholders to collect, organize, and analyze technical and programmatic data.Candidate will assist in process improvement initiatives by identifying bottlenecks, analyzing current workflows, and recommending efficiency improvements. Support the preparation of briefing materials, presentations, and reports for technical and programmatic meetings. Provide records management, including organization, version control,Additional activities include supporting the development, review, and tracking of architecture, modeling, and engineering documentation. Facilitation and participation in architecture and configuration meetings, preparing agendas, tracking attendance, documenting minutes, and following up on action items.Tasks Performed:Demonstrated Knowledge:Support the archiving of project documentation and monitor milestones and deliverables for accuracy and timeliness.Update project schedules and work breakdown structures (WBS).Maintain schedule status to include regular interaction with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate status reporting and alignment on project goals. Serve as a liaison between technical teams and leadership to ensure a clear and timely flow of information.Support configuration management efforts to include monitoring configuration items/nomenclature, supporting end-item traceability to specifications/models, and support configuration management process compliance.Develop and maintain Excel spreadsheets, team action trackers, and SharePoint sites as needed for program management, to include drafting, editing, and finalizing meeting agendas, presentations, minutes, and action tracking logs.Collect technical inputs for inclusion in project documentation.Support data analysis efforts in support of recommendations and decision-making by leadership.Assist in coordinating program activities across multiple fiscal years, including tracking funding execution, resource allocations, and planning milestones.Provide coordination support during major program events, such as reviews, demonstrations, and technical interchange meetings.Education/Experience:JUNIOR: A Junior level person within a labor category has less than 3 years of experience related to the functional duties for that labor category and a BA/BS degree.JOURNEYMAN: A Journeyman level person within a labor category has 3 to 10 years of experience related to the functional duties for that labor category and a BA/BS degree.Allowable Education/ Experience Substitutions:Six (6) years additional relevant work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree. Associate’s Degree plus four (4) years additional relevant work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.Desired Experience:Experience with Unmanned Mission Control Systems is desired.Apply strong communication skills to interface with government customers, contractors, and other stakeholders.Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office tools.Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain detailed records.Familiarity with engineering or program documentation processes is a plus.Security Clearance Required: Secret Clearance.Estimated Travel: 0%Location: On-site Lexington Park, MD.
