Consistency is key to our success; we commit to delivering excellent service and quality to our customers in all of our locations, all day.*Reports to:* Senior Manager of Training and Development*Location:* New York, NY*How You’ll Impact*The Training Manager (TM) is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing NAYA's training and development programs across all locations, ensuring a skilled and high-performing workforce. Responsibilities include designing and refining training programs for store management and team members, standardizing processes across the organization and collaborating with the Culinary Team and Senior Operations Management to implement new operational procedures.The TM partners closely with Area Managers, senior management, culinary teams and Human Resources to align training initiatives with company goals, ensuring operational consistency and delivering high-quality products and services to NAYA’s customers. This role also supports recipe development, culinary trials, system rollouts and enhancing overall operational effectiveness and growth.*What You’ll Do** Works with Senior Training and Development Manager to regularly review and refine training programs, adjusting for company growth and new operational processes.* Acts as the company administrator for Naya’s training site, ensuring the LMS platform is maintained, accessible, and meets training objectives. Works through Training Content Manager on video and asset completion.* Builds robust course material in our Learning Management System.* Monitors training completion rates on course material.* Develops, maintains and organizes training materials in collaboration with the Training Content Manager and Field Training Manager.* Partners with departments to ensure materials are accurate, engaging and scalable.* Works closely with the Culinary team to support the development, testing, and rollout of new recipes and culinary systems.* Creates toolkits and visual standards to support restaurant operations.* Evaluates training effectiveness of materials through feedback, data and performance.* Establish and update training structures and content to maintain high standards of service, product quality, and operational excellence.* Create and enforce a consistent framework for training managerial roles, ensuring all new hires are aligned with NAYA’s culture and performance expectations.* Implement and support culinary trials to review and refine new recipes and systems.*Who You Are** 3+ years of hands-on leadership experience in a fast-casual or full-service restaurant environment.* 2+ years in a training leadership role, with demonstrated success in developing and implementing training programs.* Strong proficiency with training platforms (OPUS is a plus) and familiarity with digital training tools such as Canva, Google Suite or Trello.* Strong culinary and kitchen awareness.* Thorough knowledge of food safety regulations and industry standards.* Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and build credibility across all levels of the organization.* Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage timelines and deadlines independently.* Adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced environment; passion for food and beverage, with awareness of food trends.*Benefits** Medical, Dental, Vision* Free meals every day* Phone reimbursement* Commuter benefits* More new and exciting benefits on the way!Job Type: Full-timePay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per yearBenefits:* Dental insurance* Employee discount* Health insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceWork Location: In person
