Assembly Technician I

DOD Technologies, Inc. is currently looking to add an entry level Assembly Technician to join the production/manufacturing laboratory located in Cary, IL.The ideal candidate must be able to competently perform all assigned duties and maintain a positive work attitude and commit to a culture of continuous improvement. In addition, candidate must be able to prepare and maintain reports/records in an accurately and efficiently manner. Must be able to operate equipment utilizing established protocols and recognize technical problems and take appropriate steps to resolve.*Job Requirements, Skills & Qualifications:** Assemble and test parts for industrial equipment following verbal and/or written work instructions to meet product specifications.* Read, comprehend and follow established assembly work instructions and procedures with an emphasis on quality.* Use of hand tools and small power tools required.* Knowledge of electrical equipment, wiring, soldering, wire stripping, and crimping a plus.* Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.* Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent.*Physical Requirements:* Lifting up to 40 lbs., standing for extended periods and/or bending while performing some tasks.DOD Technologies manufactures and distributes gas detection instrumentation.
