Front of House Team Member

Merridee's Breadbasket is a bakery and restaurant located in historic downtown Franklin, TN. We are looking to add a Front of House Team Member to our exceptional team of bakers, cooks and customer service staff.We are looking to add a part or full-time employee to our our team! We are always open to seasonal candidates too through the end of the year. Day-to-day 8 hour shifts run within the hours of 6am-7pm, no Sunday shifts. We do our best to maintain the same schedule on a weekly basis, but flexibility is necessary.*Front of House Team Members get a guaranteed base rate, and no limit on additional pay based on tips that come in.*The Front of House is the face of Merridee’s! They are responsible for creating a great experience for all our customers.*Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:*- Take customer orders using our POS system and handle payment- Be familiar with our menu and converse with customers about it- Communicate with all front-of-house staff to ensure a smooth operation- Box, bag and/or wrap all products sold for take out- Train on all position, including: cashier, runner, barista and expo- Safely handle customers’ food and comply with applicable health codes- Handle our in-house customers by bringing them food and cleaning their space- Assist with other duties, as needed*Qualifications:*- Restaurant experience preferred- Sincere desire to give great customer service- Reliability to work your schedule every week- Time management skills to keep up with a fast-paced work environment- Ability to be on your feet for 8 hours- Ability to lift items up to 40 pounds, if needed*Merridee’s is excited to offer a competitive compensation package that includes, but is not limited to:*- Guaranteed hourly rate with tips- Paid vacation after a year (full-time)- Health insurance offerings (full-time)- Paid life insurance policy (full-time)- Free employee meal per day- Major holidays off, Sundays offJob Types: Full-time, Part-time, SeasonalPay: $20.61 - $24.81 per hourBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Employee discount* Flexible schedule* Food provided* Paid time off* Paid training* Vision insuranceWork Location: In person
