Irrigation Service Technician

Come join a team that is committed to providing opportunities and providing an environment to give our folks a chance to win!*Key Responsibilities:** *Installation, Maintenance, and Troubleshooting:* Assist with the installation, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance of residential and commercial irrigation systems.* *Repair and Replacement:* Locate, diagnose, excavate, and repair damaged or malfunctioning irrigation components. Includes being trained to replace valve manifolds, installing irrigation smart controllers, replacing sprinkler heads, glue PVC fittings for repairs.* *Safety and Compliance:* Participate in safety meetings and adhere to safety protocols while performing duties.* *Inventory and Vehicle Management:* Maintain an organized and stocked service vehicle, ensuring all tools and parts are available and in good working condition.* *Documentation:* Able to be trained to use a CRM to input information about service visits and to build out estimates.* *Customer Interaction:* Professionally engage with customers to address their needs, offer recommendations, and ensure satisfaction with services.* *Vehicle Maintenance:* Ensure regular maintenance of service vehicle as needed to support operational efficiency.* *Navigation:* Effectively use mapping tools to navigate to job sites in a timely manner.*Physical Requirements:** *Manual Labor:* The role involves physical labor, including digging, trenching, and excavation using hand tools and power equipment.* *Tool Use:* Proficiency in using hand and power tools necessary to perform the duties of the position.* *Outdoor Work:* Must be comfortable working in various weather conditions and environments.*Qualifications:** Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.* Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.* Previous experience in irrigation installation, maintenance, or a related field preferred, but not required.* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.* High standard of personal appearance and professionalism.* Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.* Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.*Career Advancement:*This position serves as a pathway to future leadership roles, including the opportunity to transition into a Crew Manager position, depending on performance and leadership potential.*Additional Information:*The responsibilities and duties outlined above are intended to provide a general overview of the position’s expectations.
