Production Control Lead 2nd shift

*Overview*We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Lead to oversee our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding a team of production workers, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive manufacturing, with hands-on experience of fork truck operation. Ensure on time delivery of all customer shipments to include line material.2. Ensure accurate order pulling, loading, and labeling for all customer shipments and line material.*Safety*1. Observe and follow all Unipres rules and regulations.2. Maintain satisfactory work area through implementation of 5S.3. Inform management of all unsafe conditions.3. Investigate Accidents.a. Identify Root Cause.b. Provide countermeasure to prevent reoccurrence.c. Implement countermeasures without assistance.*Quality*1. Ensure all technicians understand the importance of inspecting racks and parts for damage and abide by departmental rules to handle damaged racks and parts.2. Ensure technicians follow procedures for checking inside of trailers before loading and unloading.3. Verify loading of racks of parts in trailer to avoid damage.4. Verify the packing of parts in racks. Dot not ship parts if stacked above the rack.5. Maintain Production Control department policy’s (FIFO, Kanban, 5S, KPI)8. Ensure proper labeling of containers.9. Make sure damaged rack procedures are followed.10. Ensure technicians are using correct procedures for parts handling to avoid damage.11. Lead training in Production Control department policies and procedures.12. Ensure labels are removed from empty containers before delivery to line or press.13. Develop and perform periodic audits on processes (new and continuing processes).14.
