Kennel Technician

*Summary*Ridgeside K9, LLC is seeking a reliable Kennel Technician to provide excellent care to dogs staying at our facility. Our ideal candidate is someone who loves animals and can provide high-quality pet care for our customers while also working in a high paced team environment. We expect you to provide a fun, safe, and clean environment for dogs and put customers at ease, assuring them that their pets will be safe. You will also inform customers of the various daily activities and interactions their dog had during day care. Prior experience in animal care or kennel management is a preferred.*Duties and Responsibilities** Give dogs food and water throughout the day* Take dogs for walks* Handle bathing and grooming tasks* Clean and maintain kennels, keeping them free of waste, fur/hair, and other unsanitary or hazardous materials* Supervise play areas to ensure pet safety* Keep records of feeding and walking schedules for each dog* Perform light receptionist duties, such as answering phones and maintaining logs.*Requirements and Qualifications Required** High school diploma or GED certificate* At least 18 years old* Well maintained, reliable transportation* Passion for taking care of animals* Teamwork and communication skills* Physical stamina for cleaning and maintaining kennels* Ability to work nights and weekends*Requirements and Qualifications Preferred** Prior experience at a dog daycare facility, shelter, or in personal animal care* Familiarity with various dog breedsWork Remotely* NoJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $12.50 - $15.00 per hourBenefits:* Paid time offShift:* 8 hour shift* Day shift* Evening shift* Night shiftSupplemental Pay:* Bonus opportunitiesWork Days:* Weekends as neededAbility to commute/relocate:* Winchester, VA 22603: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Shift availability:* Day Shift (Preferred)* Night Shift (Preferred)Work Location: In person
