If so, you may be just the right person to join our medical production team.Materialise USA has an opening for a Medical Production Operator.Through the use of additive manufacturing techniques, our facility in Plymouth, MI produces orthopedic surgical guides: patient-specific parts used during surgery. As this innovative approach becomes the standard of care, Materialise anticipates exponential growth and is looking for individuals to join our orthopedics production team as Medical Production Operators.We are hiring because our medical manufacturing has expanded significantly in the U.S. and continues to grow. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a thriving team and a company at the forefront of medical innovation.This is a full-time, Monday through Friday, day-shift position. Some overtime may be required. Pay starts at $17.65/hour, with the potential for higher pay based on experience. Assistance for relocation and/or visa sponsorship is not available for this position.*Responsibilities** Prepare SLS, SLA, DLP, and SLM machines for builds* Perform post-processing tasks* Conduct quality checks of surgical guides and models* Ensure accurate matching of customized products with associated documentation* Follow procedures to ensure proper delivery of products* Contribute to cross-training and teamwork by assisting in other activities at the medical production facility*Requirements** High School diploma or equivalent required* Strong computer skills (MS Windows; MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)* Completion of an administrative, medical, or technical educational program is a plus (e.g., administration, medical assistant, etc.)* Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 55 lbs, occasionally up and down stairs* Strong communication skills* Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and a quick learner* Experience in quality checks is a plus* Flexible with work hours to support production needs* Familiarity with shipping programs (FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc.)* Previous experience in a GMP and/or ISO 13485 environment is a plus*We Offer*We provide an inspiring and challenging career in an innovative market.
