Range Safety Officer

Job Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Officer to join our team. As a Safety Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our staff, guests, and facilities. You will be responsible for implementing safety protocols, conducting regular inspections, and providing training to promote a safe environment.*Compensation:**RSO's start between $17-$19 per hour. RSO's also are eligible to earn commissions as well as tips. Typical commission and tips add $5-$10 per hour in wage pay for our RSO's.*Duties:- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and industry best practices- Conduct regular inspections of facilities, equipment, and work areas to identify potential hazards or safety concerns- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and recommend preventive measures- Provide safety training to employees on topics such as emergency response, hazard identification, and proper use of personal protective equipment- Maintain accurate records of safety-related incidents, inspections, and training sessions- Collaborate with management to develop emergency response plans and conduct drills to test their effectiveness- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in safety regulations to ensure continuous improvementRequirements:- Proven experience as a Safety Officer or similar role- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively deliver training sessions and communicate safety procedures to staff- Ability to conduct thorough inspections and identify potential hazards- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate accidents/incidents and recommend preventive measures- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teamsSkills:- Customer service- Public speaking- Experience working with children- Lifeguard- Guest services- Conflict management- Theater- Hospitality- Cash handling- Events managementIf you are passionate about promoting a safe environment and have the necessary skills and experience, we encourage you to apply for this position.
