Stone Saw Operator

Job Description*Summary/Objective*This position operates loads and removes stone slabs for the Baca Waterjet Saw, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.· Load stone slabs onto saw table· Remove good pieces from saw table and load onto shop carts· Spray down tables/floors to clear sediment· Scoop troughs of sediment and put in waste· Operate manual bridge saw to cut groove into back of granite tops· Take carts of tops to CNC area· Scoop BACA tubs monthly· Operate forklift to empty dumpster· Fill Garnet hopper on saw· Clean Gray Water filter weekly· Wear all safety equipment· Sweep, mop and keep work area clean and free of debrisCompetencies1. Time Management.Work EnvironmentThis position works in a warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, and standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, box cutters and tape dispensers.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
