Activities Coordinator

*Job Description*Beachside Rehab, a private substance abuse and mental health facility is looking to hire a full time *Activities Coordinator *to join our team.The *Activities Coordinator* will be responsible for developing, implementing, and supervising a full scope of recreational and leisure activities for the clients under our care.* Plans group recreation activities and events.* Responsible for creating an exciting & therapeutic recreation program.* Provides motivation to clients participating in recreational activities.* Coordinates off site recreational outings.* Facilitates leisure and social activities for clients help promote wellness and community spirit.*Requirements:** High School Diploma or GED* At least one (1) year of experience working in a behavioral health or substance abuse treatment setting.* At least one (1) year of experience leading recreation and leisure activities.* Ability to work independentlyWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and a Drug Free WorkplaceJob Type: Full-timePay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceWork Location: In person
