*Job Summary*We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing property leasing activities, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations, and providing exceptional customer service to prospective tenants. This role requires strong negotiation skills and familiarity with property management software such as Yardi. The Leasing Agent will play a crucial role in maintaining the overall appeal and functionality of our properties.*Duties** Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants.* Assist in the negotiation of lease agreements and terms with potential renters.* Maintain accurate records of tenant applications, leases, and renewals using Yardi or similar property management software.* Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations throughout the leasing process.* Perform data entry tasks related to tenant information and property maintenance requests.* Collaborate with the Facilities Management team to address property maintenance issues promptly.* File necessary documentation related to leasing activities and tenant communications.* Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.*Requirements** Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations is essential.* Proven ability to negotiate lease agreements effectively.* Familiarity with Yardi or similar property management software is preferred.* Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.* Experience in legal administrative tasks related to leasing is a plus.* Understanding of facilities management principles is beneficial.* Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.Join our dynamic team as a Leasing Agent where you can contribute to creating a welcoming environment for residents while ensuring the smooth operation of our properties.Job Type: Full-timePay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hourBenefits:* Dental insurance* Employee discount* Health insurance* Referral programWork Location: In person
