Leasing Agent/Assistant Manager

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing property leases, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and maintaining high occupancy rates. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of property management, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.*Responsibilities** Assist prospective tenants with inquiries and provide information about available properties.* Manage lease agreements and ensure compliance with legal requirements.* Maintain accurate records of tenant applications, leases, and renewals using property management software.* Collaborate with the property maintenance team to address tenant concerns and ensure properties are well-maintained.* Utilize sales techniques to effectively close leasing deals and achieve occupancy goals.* Provide exceptional customer service through effective phone etiquette and communication skills.* Stay updated on local real estate laws and regulations, including LITC Tax Credit compliance.*Requirements** Previous experience in property management or real estate administrative roles is preferred.* Knowledge of laws related to leasing and property management is essential. .* Strong sales skills with the ability to engage potential tenants effectively.* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in managing contracts and documentation.* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.* A proactive approach to problem-solving and tenant relations is highly valued.Join us in creating a welcoming environment for our tenants while ensuring the efficient operation of our properties!Job Type: Full-timePay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hourExpected hours: No more than 40 per weekSchedule:* Monday to FridayAbility to Commute:* Plano, TX 75074 (Preferred)Ability to Relocate:* Plano, TX 75074: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)Work Location: In person
