We can provide training, expertise, and education to those new to this dynamic field.The Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader has 2 or more years successfully managing landscapes and desires to take their skills to the next level through supervision of a landscape maintenance crew, continued education and training, and amazing customer service skills!Both of these positions incorporate elements of the following:*Work is supervised by the Field Supervisor and reported to the Maintenance Manager for adherence to instructions and established standards. **Essential Duties and Tasks:*Work includes managing a small crew by prioritizing projects, assigning work tasks, using equipment, maintaing records, monitoring work quality and work schedules, ensuring crew safety, training employees, and providing performance feedback. The employee leads and participates in performing various landscaping, horticultural functions, and equipment operation. The crew lead will be responsible for procurement of materials, work orders, and record-keeping for each project or route. Work subjects the employee to inside and outside enviornmental conditions, extremes in temperatures, and hazards associated with equipment operations including fumes, oils, gases and mists.*Education and experience:*High School diploma or GED. 2 or 4 year degree in a Landscape or Business related field is a plus*Performance skills and qualifications:** Ability to lift 60 lbs. + consistently throughout the day.* Thorough knowledge of standard practices, materials, tools, and equipment utilized in the area of assigned work in landscape maintenance.* Considerable working knowledge of work hazards and applicable safety precautions with assigned areas of work.* Minor knowledge of equipment maintenance.* Skilled in the operation of various pieces of equipment necessary to accomplish assigned tasks.* Working knowledge of leadership skills including communications, motivation, and performance feedback.* Must have an insurable driving record.* Some knowledge of the laws and regulations related to supervison.* Advanced skill in the operation of equipment, tools, and instruments used for assigned work areas.* Basic skill in writing routine reports, documents, and phone apps.* Ability to assign and supervise the work of others, provide instruction, lead a small crew and inspire confidence.* Ability to unserstand and follow oral instructions, bilingual is a plus.* Ability to read and interpret documents and construction drawings* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, coworkers, and the public.* High attention to detail…the customer doesn’t see what we do, they see what we don’t do that they paid for.* High ability to deal with ambiguity in a high stress environment while keeping your composure on and off the job.* Stoop, stand and bend for 10 hours or more a day.* Drug free work environment.* 1 Year Maintenance Lead preferred* Previous landscape maintenance lead experience* Ability to operate large zero turn mowers such as XMark and GravelyGraham Landscape and Design LLC offers competitive wages, Paid Time Off, SEP retirement plan, company discounts, weekly pay, direct deposit, opportunities for advancement, performance bonuses, and a fun and amazing work environment!Graham Landscape and Design LLC provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
