They will manage and direct the kitchen team members, including Cooks. As the Kitchen Manager, you will exemplify the Company’s Core Values through your daily interactions with guest, team members, and the community.*Essential Duties & Responsibilities,* the essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:* Ability to understand daily usage numbers* Able to place accurate food and bread orders* Organizes daily shifts, breaks and positions* Communicates with General Manager about kitchen schedule* Making periodic and regular inspections of units to observe quality of food preparation and service, food appearance, and cleanliness and sanitation of production and service areas, equipment and team member appearance* Performing portion controls with all food* Coordinating all training activities for kitchen team members to include the identification and analysis of training needs, and follows training guidelines* Ability to follow recipes and portion specifications in accordance with consumer tastes, nutritional needs, product specifications, ease of preparation, and established procedures and budgetary constraints* Ability to execute and ensure the kitchen team members also execute company cooking standard, processes, and procedures* Participating in restaurant sales analysis to include the determination of purchasing specifications, product and recipe testing, and menu development* Assisting General Managers as requested in areas such as food presentation, and catering menu planning* Expert multi-tasker, perform to high standard in in a fast paced kitchen environment* Performing other work-related duties as assigned*Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):** Three (3) years of progressive experience in high-volume food production or pizza food service; one (1) year of management experience preferred. Equivalent combinations of relevant education and experience will be considered* Exceptional leadership skills with a strong ability to train and motivate team members. Successful completion of a management food safety program is preferred* Ability to work efficiently in a high-stress, fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high food quality standards. Proficient in pizza cooking techniques, including dough preparation and baking* Strong communication skills to effectively read tickets, follow written and oral instructions, and interact with team members and guests. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred* Guest service-minded with a focus on ensuring consistent food quality for every guest.* Ability to stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push, and pull items weighing 50 pounds or less* Manual dexterity, auditory, and visual skills required* High energy, outgoing, and exemplifies the Odies vibe and energy* Ability to stay calm and work efficiently under pressure* Ability to prioritize job duties and manage time effectively* Willingness to work evenings, weekends and a flexible schedule as required* Leads through example* They are "down to earth"...but can also "get down to business"Job Type: Part-timePay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hourBenefits:* Flexible schedule* Paid trainingApplication Question(s):* Applicants must have prior supervisory and pizza industry experience.
