Production Assistant

*Job Overview*We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Assistant to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the production process by assisting with various tasks related to fabrication, assembly, and equipment operation. This position is essential for maintaining efficiency and quality in our production line.*Duties** Operate a chop saw, table saw and other common hand tools to cut plastic materials to specified sizes* Read and interpret measurements accurately using a tape measure* Maintain a well-organized inventory of plastic blocks in multiple sizes to ensure continuous production supply.* Monitor stock levels and restock materials as needed to support production demands* Install hardware on HDOE lids efficiently and accurately* Assist with other duties across the production floor as needed* Deliver completed part to specified production areas* Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe work environment*Skills** Proven experience operating a chop saw and table saw* Comfortable using hand tools and power tools* Ability to read a tape measure and work from cut lists or drawings* Strong attention to detail and organization skills* Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials up to 50lbs* Good communication skills* Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating attention to detail.* Must have reliable transportation to and from workIf you feel like you might be a good fit for this position, please apply today!Job Type: Full-timePay: From $14.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Life insurance* Opportunities for advancement* Vision insuranceSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Monday to Friday* Weekends as neededSupplemental Pay:* Overtime payPeople with a criminal record are encouraged to applyAbility to Commute:* Waycross, GA 31503 (Required)Work Location: In person
