*Overview*We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in upscale casual dining and catering environments. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. Your creativity and attention to detail will contribute to our menu planning and overall dining experience.*Responsibilities** Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.* Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining quality and presentation.* Collaborate with kitchen staff to create new menu items and improve existing offerings.* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food storage and handling practices.* Adhere to food safety regulations and sanitation guidelines at all times.* Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed.* Support the dietary department by accommodating special dietary needs when required.* Demonstrate excellent knife skills for meal preparation and presentation.* Participate in catering events as needed, providing exceptional service to guests.*Qualifications** Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the food industry.* Strong culinary skills with knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and menu planning.* Experience in fine dining or catering is highly desirable.* Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices for food handling.* Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.* Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members.* Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting is preferred but not mandatory.* A passion for cooking and delivering exceptional dining experiences is essential.
