The Shift Leader will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and leading a team of staff members. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage various aspects of the business effectively. The ideal candidate will have a background in food service and possess excellent organizational abilities.*Duties** Supervise and coordinate daily operations during assigned shifts to ensure smooth workflow.* Train, mentor, and motivate team members to provide outstanding customer service.* Manage cash handling procedures, including processing transactions using POS systems.* Assist in budgeting and inventory management to optimize operational efficiency.* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness.* Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during shifts.* Collaborate with management on staffing needs, scheduling, and performance evaluations.* Support catering operations as needed, ensuring timely delivery and quality service.*Skills** Strong skills in budgeting and financial management within a food service environment.* Proficient in cash handling procedures and operation of POS systems.* Excellent shift management capabilities with a focus on team dynamics and productivity.* Knowledge of food management practices to ensure quality and safety standards are met.* Exceptional leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and enhance employee performance.* Familiarity with food preparation techniques is a plus for enhancing customer experience.* Experience in catering services is advantageous.*EEO Notice*Costa Vida Mexican Grill is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
