*Job Summary*The Water Equipment Service Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of water-related equipment such as water softener, carbon filters reverse osmosis systems, and other associated systems. This role requires technical expertise in plumbing, water systems, and equipment, along with strong problem-solving abilities and excellent customer service skills.*Responsibilities** Install, maintain, and repair water-related equipment, including water softener, carbon filters reverse osmosis systems, and other associated systems* Perform routine inspections and diagnostics on water systems to identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, or plumbing issues.* Provide maintenance recommendations to ensure optimal system operation.* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and local codes while performing installations and repairs.* Provide clear communication to customers regarding service needs, solutions, and maintenance schedules.* Maintain accurate service records, including work performed, parts used, and service recommendations.* Troubleshoot issues using diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and knowledge of water systems.* Ensure all work is completed in a timely, efficient, and professional manner.* Offer guidance to customers on water equipment use and basic maintenance.* Keep up to date with the latest technology and developments in water treatment and equipment systems.*Experience/Qualifications** High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in plumbing, HVAC, or a related field is preferred.* Proven experience working with water equipment systems, plumbing, or mechanical repair.* Familiarity with various water treatment systems (filtration, pumps, reverse osmosis, etc.).* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot water system issues.* Ability to operate and use diagnostic tools and testing equipment.* Excellent customer service and communication skills.* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.* Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.* Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions.Join us in maintaining the high standards of our equipment service operations while ensuring safety and efficiency in our workplace!Job Type: Full-timePay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per yearBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Paid time off* Professional development assistance* Referral programSchedule:* Monday to FridayAbility to Commute:* Greenwood, IN 46143 (Required)Work Location: In person
