*Job Overview – Banquet Captain:*The Banquet Captain plays a key leadership role within the hotel’s food and beverage team, overseeing the execution of all banquet events including weddings, conferences, meetings, and special functions. This position ensures seamless event service by supervising banquet staff, coordinating with kitchen and event planners, and maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction.*Key Responsibilities for Banquet Captain:** Lead and supervise banquet servers and bartenders during events.* Coordinate event setup and breakdown according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).* Serve as the main point of contact for clients and guests during events.* Ensure timing and quality of food and beverage service aligns with event schedule.* Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and other departments.* Monitor cleanliness, organization, and appearance of event spaces.* Train, motivate, and support banquet team members.* Maintain inventory of banquet supplies and request replenishments as needed.* Ensure all hotel policies and service standards are followed.*Qualifications for Banquet Captain:** Previous experience in banquet service or hospitality leadership preferred.* Strong organizational and communication skills.* Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment.* Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.* Excellent guest service and problem-solving skills.* ServSafe or food handler certification may be required.*Apply today and be part of a team where your skills are valued and your growth is supported.*Job Type: Part-timePay: $21.50 per hourBenefits:* Employee discountWork Location: In person
