As a fast-growing company, we’re expanding our team in Clinton, NC, and looking for driven individuals to join us.*About the Role*A Board Operator in a fertilizer manufacturing setting is responsible for operating and maintaining the control systems and equipment that oversee the production process. This role involves monitoring gauges, adjusting set points, troubleshooting problems, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the plant.*Compensation & Advancement** $27-$32/hr (3–6 month probationary period)* Pay increases based on contribution and impact on operations*Responsibilities*Operate and Monitor Control Systems:* Utilize computer-based control systems, gauges, and meters to monitor and adjust process parameters like temperature, product moisture and flow rates.Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues:* Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions or process deviations, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining production.Maintain and Improve Equipment:* Assist with routine maintenance, minor repairs, and improvements to ensure optimal performance of the control systems and equipment.* Ensure all safety and environmental procedures are followed, including proper handling and storage of chemicals.Safety and Compliance:* Adhere to all safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies related to the operation of the control systems and equipment.Documentation and Reporting:* Maintain accurate records of process data, operational activities, and any maintenance performed.Operate and Maintain Equipment:* Operate and maintain various machinery, including pumps, fans, conveyors, and mixers, according to established procedures.Job Type: Full-timePay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hourBenefits:* Health insurance* Paid time offSchedule:* Monday to FridayAbility to Commute:* Turkey, NC 28393 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Turkey, NC 28393: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
