PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Warranty Administrator prepares, records, and reconciles warranty claims and submits them to the factory and distributors for defective parts.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION/DUTIES:Assist service manager in coding and closing of warranty claims.Process warranty claims.Verify criteria required by factory or distributor.Post credits on computer.Follow up with the factory and distributors regarding unpaid claims.Reconcile selected vendor accounts.Monitor accounts receivable schedule for the service department.Monitor the extended warranty schedule.MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE/EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:High school diploma or equivalentMust maintain a valid state driver’s licensePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.EMPLOYEE REQUIREMENTS:Compliance with all policies of the company including without limitation the Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct, Electronic Information Policy, and Confidentiality Agreement.
