Licensed & Experienced Aesthetician/Laser Technician

*Job Title:* Laser Technician & Aesthetician*Reports to:* Medical Director & Office*Location:* Pembroke Pines, Fl.*Employment Type:* [Full-Time / Part-Time]*Position Summary*We are seeking a skilled and client-focused *Laser Technician & Aesthetician* to join our team at Dr. Thrower's Dermatology & Medspa. The ideal candidate will be reliable, flexible, and have an advanced knowledge of skin care and laser technology. The *Laser Technician & Aesthetician* must have a passion for delivering safe, effective, and results-driven treatments. This role combines technical expertise with exceptional client care to provide an outstanding aesthetic experience.*Key Responsibilities** Perform a variety of laser and light-based procedures, including but not limited to hair removal, skin resurfacing, pigmentation correction, and vascular treatments.* Conduct thorough client consultations, skin assessments, and patch tests to ensure treatment suitability and safety.* Provide aesthetic services such as facials, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, microneedling, dermaplanning and other skin-rejuvenating/aesthetic procedures.* Develop personalized treatment plans and educate clients on pre- and post-procedure care.* Operate and maintain a Candela laser and aesthetic equipment such as a Hydrafacial machine according to manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols.* Adhere to all state regulations, sanitation standards, and clinic policies.* Maintain accurate and detailed client treatment records.* Stay informed on the latest technologies, industry trends, and continuing education opportunities.*Qualifications** Valid state license as an Aesthetician or Cosmetologist.* Certified Laser Technician credentials (state requirements apply).* Minimum of 1 year of experience in aesthetics and/or laser treatments (preferred).* In-depth understanding of skin anatomy, healing processes, and contraindications.* Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.* CPR/BLS certification (preferred).*Physical Requirements** Ability to stand for extended periods.* Manual dexterity for precise treatment application.* Occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs. for equipment handling.*Compensation & Benefits** Competitive base pay plus commission and/or bonuses.* [Health, dental, vision insurance, employee discounts, etc.]* Opportunities for professional growth and training.*Join our team and help clients look and feel their best through innovative aesthetic care and exceptional service.*Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, ContractPay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hourBenefits:* Employee discount* Flexible schedule* Health insuranceAbility to Commute:* Pembroke Pines, FL 33029 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Pembroke Pines, FL 33029: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)Work Location: In person
