*Job Overview*We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the restaurant industry, particularly in fine dining experience. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.*Duties** Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and customer service.* Manage staff training and development programs to enhance team performance and operational efficiency.* Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.* Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient cash handling and transaction processing.* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe working environment.* Develop and manage budgets, forecasting sales, and controlling costs to maximize profitability.* Supervise daily shift operations, ensuring smooth workflow and addressing any issues that arise.* Foster a positive work culture that encourages teamwork, communication, and employee engagement.* Conduct interviews and hire new staff members as needed to maintain optimal staffing levels.* Collaborate with kitchen management on menu development, food production, and catering services.*Skills** Proven experience in restaurant management or food service management roles.* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.* Excellent customer service skills with a focus on enhancing guest experiences.* Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and culinary practices.* Familiarity with inventory control processes and budgeting principles.* Experience in supervising staff and conducting training sessions effectively.* Ability to handle cash transactions accurately with strong cash handling skills.* Background in hospitality management with an understanding of fine dining standards.* Proficiency in using various POS systems for operational efficiency.* Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
