Lead Mitigation Technician

Property Medics of Georgia is a Residential construction company whose main focus is on insurance related reconstruction.We currently have an immediate opening for an experienced Lead Mitigation Technician. Our Mitigation Technicians work hard in often harsh conditions involving, smoke, water, mold, sewage, etc., to help people and properties recover from damage due to disasters. We are looking for self motivated, team players who genuinely care about their workmanship. We are always busy and have steady work all year long.This is a great opportunity for long term employment with a professional, fast pace, and growing company.Mitigation Technician responsibilities include, but are not limited to:* Overseeing the following mitigation team duties to ensure each job runs smoothly and efficiently:* Water Damage-extraction, drying, minor demolition & pack out* Mold Remedication* Fire Damage-board up, structure stabilization, smoke cleaning & pack out* Trash removal* Restoration-contents manipulation, cleaning, small punch out tasks* Taking moisture readings at each job to ensure accurate completion* Ensuring proper paperwork and photos are complete* Material supply and delivery* On call rotation for new emergency calls*Minimum Requirements:*-High School diploma (or equivalent) or higher preferred.-Must have a driver’s license with a clean MVR-Must be able pass a background check and drug screen.-Must have a valid driver’s license.-Standard schedule is 40 hours or more a week, with possible overtime.-This is a 24/7 company with an on-call requirement every other week. /*/*Please do not apply if you cannot meet this requirement. /*/*-Must be self-motivated; works well individually.-Must be a team player; works well with team.-Must have excellent customer service skills-Must be able to lift a minimum 70lbs without assistance.Work Remotely* NoJob Type: Full-timePay: $17.00 - $30.00 per hourBenefits:* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Health savings account* Paid time off* Vision insuranceSchedule:* Monday to Friday* On call* Weekends as neededApplication Question(s):* Are you willing to complete a background check?Experience:* Water mitigation: 2 years (Required)License/Certification:* Driver's License (Required)* IICRC Certification (Required)Work Location: Multiple locations
