We customize our approach based on the needs of the client, and must therefore be open to various types of work.*Job Description*This Production Associate role is an opportunity to join the Vital Ops Team at a very early stage with the ability to affect how the operations is designed and operated. The right candidate will be very comfortable working within a very flexible, somewhat unstructured, environment while also aiming to move towards more standardized and structured work.The responsibilities will cover a wide range of tasks from assembling products, performing quality inspections, inventory counts, and consumer order fulfillment. All of which will require a high degree of attention to detail, cleanliness / hygiene, and accuracy. Maintaining effective documentation of work preformed is critical for historical record keeping.Given we are a small team, it is important that this candidate is reliable, trustworthy, and a strong team player willing to jump in and help where needed. Consistent transportation and flexible work schedule is key.*Key Responsibilities*· Assemble finished products per the instructions and specifications provided.· Follow all procedures related to quality & cleanliness / hygiene related to the task performed to maintain GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and FDA Food Safety standards· Maintain proper documentation as required per SOPs· Effective operation of production and warehousing equipment· Prepare consumer and retail orders for shipping· Communicate clearly across team to maintain a high quality and safe work environment· Pay close attention to detail to ensure high quality and accuracy. Communicate any quality concerns and resolve root cause as necessary· Maintain highest levels of cleanliness throughout work areas*Qualifications & Skills:*· Strong attention to detail· Able to closely follow instructions and procedures· Autonomous & able to effectively complete tasks without direct supervision· Operates at a fast pace and can maintain necessary efficiency in all tasks· Strong communication skills – both verbal and written· Strong team player – maintains full respect for all and willing to help where ever needed· Dependable and flexible in scheduleJob Type: Full-timePay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekWork Location: In person
