We are looking for a dynamic Center Director to join our Care 4 Kids team. Care 4 Kids was founded in 1998, we are an early childhood education provider/daycare and we serve age 6 weeks to 12 years in the Wooster and Wayne County area. The ideal Director will have a passion for early childhood education, leadership ability and a strong ownership mentality. The candidate must have experience as a director in a licensed facility and meet Ohio requirements to be the administrator on a license.We offer competitive salaried pay and bonus with full health benefits (medical, dental and vision) as well as a tuition discount for childcare at the center. This is not a comprehensive list._*Staffing*_Day-to-day scheduling of staff schedules (incl. lunches and breaks) and ensuring compliance with state ratiosInterviewing, onboarding, and training new staffMaintaining employee files and training requirements per state regsHolding staff accountable for job performance and adherence to staff handbook (curriculum, cleaning, attendance, Brightwheel communications, cell phone usage)Annual staff evaluations and quarterly staff meetingsManaging temp agency requests and follow-upsManaging vacation and PTO requests, scheduling, and compliance_*Payroll*_Ensure proper clock in/out from staff; adjusting timesheets manually for situations as they ariseAudit payroll before submitting it to the Area Director_*Billing (Private Pay)*_Setting up billing plans and managing adjustments to billing plans on Brightwheel.Collections, late fee management, and enforcing parent handbook policies for delinquent payersHandling parent questions and disputes regarding accounts_*Curriculum*_Ensure every class has their weekly lesson plans up on the boardEnsure lesson plans meet state requirements and children are reaching their developmental goals through assessmentsEnsure supplies are purchased and available_*Center Maintenance*_Ensure cleaning schedules are adhered to and the center is cleaned and organized dailyInspect building and playground for deficiencies and repair needs; create a “fix it” list_*Children Enrollment*_Manage inquiries across all mediums (FB, website/email, phone calls, etc.), follow-upsStay up to date on enrollment on a classroom basis (Brightwheel hygiene) and project future enrollment to assess openingsSchedule and give toursOnboarding new families with proper documentation, Brightwheel set up, and account managementMaintenance of children records including emergency contact, immunization, food income apps, etc._*Parent Communications*_Managing parent communications including billings, enrollment issues, curriculum, complaints, etc.Parent notifications for misbehavior, illness, or severe accident reports_*Licensing*_Handling all licensing visits including inspections and investigationsDrafting plan of correctionsConduct and record required fire/emergency drillsKeep the licensing binder up to date_*Benefits (full benefits)*_Medical | Dental | VisionJob Type: Full-timePay: From $40,000.00 per yearBenefits:* 401(k)* Childcare* Dental insurance* Employee discount* Flexible schedule* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Professional development assistance* Retirement plan* Tuition reimbursement* Vision insuranceSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Monday to FridayApplication Question(s):* Are you an Ohio Career Pathway Level 3 or higher?Ability to Commute:* Wooster, OH 44691 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Wooster, OH 44691: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
