The team at SNI focuses on chic, approachable, and styled interiors for homeowners in the San Francisco Bay Area.*ABOUT THE ROLE*The Intermediate Interior Designer is responsible for assisting in delivering all design requirements. The Intermediate Interior Designer is an integral part of the design team who will coordinate the administration, production and execution of design projects alongside the Principal.*Roles and Responsibilities** Work closely with the Principal on all design projects from concept to completion* Conceptualize unique design concepts and solutions* Responsible for producing high quality project design deliverables in both FF&E and construction documents* Work on any/all phases of interior design projects including Pre-Design, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, Construction Administration, and Installation* Select interior details, materials, color selections, furniture and furnishings lighting design, space planning, and detailing* Prepare proposals, purchase orders, invoices, and budget spreadsheets* Work with and serve as key point of contact for vendors and sources* Support the process of purchasing, expediting, receiving, and installation*Requirements:** 3-4+ years experience in high end residential interior design firms* Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or related field* Proficient AutoCAD and/or Chief Architect* Ability to manage multiple projects in various stages of development* Ability to work autonomously and collaborate with design assistants* Ability to communicate design ideas and direction* Experience communicating with clients, vendors, and contractors, architects, and tradespeople* Reliable car and valid driver’s license to go to and from project sites, showrooms, meetings, etc.*Benefits - please confirm additional benefits** $70,000 - $85,000 commensurate with experience* Full Time or Contract* In-Office 4 days a week and 1 day remote* Paid time offJob Type: Full-timePay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per yearBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Flexible schedule* Health insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceEducation:* Bachelor's (Required)Experience:* Interior design: 3 years (Required)Location:* Oakland, CA 94618 (Preferred)Ability to Commute:* Oakland, CA 94618 (Required)Work Location: In person
