*House Manager (Ascension House)**Full-Time**Attleboro, MA*The Ascension House is an emergency shelter for men and women in Attleboro, Massachusetts that is staffed 24 hours a day. The shelter provides a comprehensive range of supportive services, including case management, housing support, workforce development training, financial planning, and access to mental health referrals and other needed services. The Ascension House is committed to helping individuals secure the community resources needed to secure housing, employment and long-term sustainability. The goal of Ascension House is to help our clients gain long-term sustainability while working on the current issues that lead to their homelessness.The House Manager will exhibit positive leadership while supervising staff and oversee all programmatic functions including, but not limited to, program compliance, regulations/guidelines, hours of operation and required documentation. This position will provide supportive services to all activities related to daily operations and promote agency culture, learning, respect and dignity.The House Manager is responsible for ensuring the essential functions of the shelter and community outreach while providing services that are safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable and client centered.* Ability to work as part of a team with a commitment to end homelessness* Must demonstrate honesty, integrity, and professionalism always* Must exemplify CCFR’ mission in action: helping those in need, and treating others with compassion, dignity and respect* Maintain an effective working relationship with referral sources, community agencies, donors and volunteers as well as with colleagues, supervisors, employees and other agency programs* Exhibit positive leadership and role modeling, including program development and agency mission* Understand the program contract and oversee all programmatic functions* Provide services and support to homeless individuals to move into permanent or stable housing* Provide advocacy, including housing search, mental health, medical and substance abuse referrals, daily living skill training, and linkage to community supports* Responsible to review/assist with developing each individualized service plan* Develop and maintain a network of community resources to help clients exit the shelter with support that are necessary and consistent with a Housing First model* Must exhibit strong assessment skills, excellent documentation skills, organization, and communication skills to adequately supervise the needs of the program* Must adhere to funder’s contractual, program, and service requirements* Collection of Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) data* Meet with the Program Director for weekly supervision and updates* Respond to inquiries, phone calls, correspondence, and e-mails in a timely manner* Responsible for bi-weekly payroll and timesheet approvals, sick calls, time off approval, attendance tracking and schedule changes* Conduct routine staff meetings* Complete all tasks assigned by the Program DirectorQualifications include:· BA/BS in Human Services preferred, experience in human services, housing and homelessness services, mental health, trauma, and substance abuse· Excellent organizational and communication skills· Computer skills with the ability to perform daily tasks within Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel· A reliable, insured vehicle and valid driver’s license required· Bi-lingual helpful_*Why join our team??*__CCFR is committed to providing equal opportunities to all personnel and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion or religious creed, gender or pregnancy, national origin, age, disability (or perceived disability), gender identity, sexual orientation, genetic information, ancestry, marital or familial status, veteran status, citizenship, ancestry, or any other protected category as set forth by applicable state or federal law (each is a “Protected Characteristic”).
