Barista Shift Leader

*Job Summary*The Coffee Den is seeking an experienced Coffee Shop Shift Leader to oversee the daily operations during their assigned shifts. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee, exceptional customer service skills, and a strong background in team management and hospitality. As the Shift LEader, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for both customers and staff while ensuring the highest quality of service and product offerings.*Responsibilities** Lead and manage daily operations of the coffee shop, ensuring smooth service delivery.* Oversee inventory management, including keeping track of supplies and monitoring and reporting stock levels.* Mentor, and develop new and temp staff to provide exceptional customer experiences* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen and dining areas.* Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration among staff.* Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally to enhance satisfaction.* Collaborate with management to ensure quality food offerings complement beverage selections.*Experience** Proven experience in a casual dining or coffee shop environment.* Strong background in hospitality with an emphasis on customer service excellence.* Experience in staff training, interviewing, and team management is essential.* Previous experience working in a bar setting or with beverage preparation is desirable.Join our team as we create memorable experiences for our customers through great coffee and exceptional service!Job Type: Part-timePay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hourExpected hours: 25 – 40 per weekWork Location: In person
