Human Resources Coordinator

As an employee-owned community bank, First Bank of Berne believes in the value of people and the importance of building relationships.We are currently looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to provide administrative and operational support for HR functions to facilitate the efficient delivery of HR services. The HR Coordinator administers the payroll/HRIS system, ensures the accuracy of employee data, prepares reports, manages the LMS, and is responsible for the benefit open enrollment process.Necessary education and experience:· Bachelors in HR with 1-3 years of experience in an HR support or administrative role or an equivalent combination of education/HR experience.· Familiar with core HR functions, compliance with labor laws, and application of best practices.· Proficiency in an HRIS system preferred.To successfully perform this job, the individual must possess the following:· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.· Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.· Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with efficiency and accuracy.· Comfortable navigating various HR technology platforms and a willingness to learn new systems.The benefit package includes PTO, paid holidays, medical, dental, vision and life insurance, 401(k) with match, Employee Stock Ownership Plan, and Performance Bonus.
