Cutdown Double Door Builder

*Job Overview*We are seeking a skilled and reliable *Production Door Builder* with hands-on experience in *cutting down doors to custom sizes* and *assembling double doors*. This role is essential to the daily operations of our manufacturing/shop floor and requires precision, efficiency, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in door assembly, woodworking, and measuring/cutting tools.*(Cutdown & Double Door Experience Required)**Responsibilities** Build and assemble single and double door units, including framing, hinging, and prepping for hardware.* Perform accurate cutdowns to adjust doors to custom sizes as specified by work orders.* Use power tools and woodworking machinery safely and effectively (e.g., table saws, miter saws, panel saws, routers, drills, etc.).* Inspect materials and finished products for quality and consistency.* Maintain clean and organized work area; follow all safety procedures and shop guidelines.* Read and interpret work orders, technical drawings, and specifications.* Collaborate with team members to ensure production deadlines are met.* Troubleshoot and resolve basic door fit and alignment issues.*Experience** Minimum *2 years of experience* in door manufacturing or carpentry, including cutdown and double door experience.* Strong understanding of door construction, wood types, and related hardware.* Ability to read tape measures, blueprints, and work instructions accurately.* Proficient with hand and power tools.* Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods.* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.* Team player with a good work ethic and time management skills.*Preferred Qualifications:** Experience working with pre-hung doors, slabs, and jamb assembly.* Familiarity with fire-rated and custom doors.* Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.*Compensation & Benefits:** Competitive hourly wage (based on experience)* Health, dental, and vision insurance* Paid holidays and vacation (after 1 year)*Work Environment:** Indoor manufacturing setting with exposure to noise, dust, and machinery.* May involve working in temperature-variable conditions.Job Type: Full-timePay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekSchedule:* 8 hour shiftWork Location: In person
