CNC Programmer and Machinist

Growing small business in search of a CNC machinist and programmer to meet needs for prototyping and production. We have a flexible atmosphere, great location, and work on a wide variety of products & industries - goods made by us having traveled on land, to ocean, and to the moon! The candidate will be responsible for manufacturing components, start to finish, for industries such as aerospace, government funded research, cryogenics, rotating machinery, and power generation. We've recently moved to a nice, new location :)The ideal candidate will be able to grab the reigns and operate autonomously on single or short run manufacturing - spec'ing, programming, setup, machining, inspect. We are looking for experienced candidates, however still encourage any interested parties to apply. We are willing to train the right candidate, but you must have a good attitude, be willing to learn, and most importantly maintain a clean & organized workspace.You will have a wide variety of equipment and tools at your disposal - we have various CNC machines, manual machines, and fabrication equipment operated under a small staff. In addition to performing programming & machining, the candidate may responsible for other activities such as: shop & equipment maintenance, tooling/materials specification, and prototype assembly. We take cleanliness seriously, the candidate must work in a clean, organized and precise manner.This position is a standard day shift, operating during regular business hours, Monday through Friday.Pay will be commensurate with experience and required level of training.
