CNC Machinist

We have a strong reputation for quality and customer service. Our 26,000 sqft facility is located in Mentor, Ohio. The plant is very clean, organized and air-conditioned. We are looking for an experienced CNC machininst to join our team.As a *CNC machinist,* you will be a key member in our CNC area performing set-up and running production on a variety of CNC mills and/or lathes with Fanuc / Mitsubishi controls. The candidate must be a team player with an attitude of helpfulness that supports the operation. The successful candidate will need to be reliable, organized, flexible, and possesses communication skills with a willingness to collaborate amongst the team.*What you’ll do:*Set-up and operate CNC machines to produce precision components for the aerospace industry.* Interprete technical prints and understand the requirements.* Set-up CNC machines using proven programs, cutting jaws and touching off tools and setting work coordinates.* Measure and examine completed parts to verify conformance to specifications using precision tools like micrometers, height stands, comparators...* Make offset adjustments as needed to maintain print specifications.* Conduct maintenance and troubleshooting on machines, ensuring they operate smoothly and efficiently* Keep a detailed record of processes, tool usage, and production output* Adhered to safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment* Collaborate with engineers / programmers to improve manufacturing processes* Expand your knowledge of the CNC machining trade by learning from peers*What you’ll bring:*· High school diploma or GED.· Valid Ohio driver’s license.· Attention to detail.· Attitude of helpfulness and support.· Self-starter mentality – the ability to work in a timely manner with limited supervision.· Ability to collaborate and contribute as a member of a team with a positive attitude.*Benefits:*Job Type: Full-time – 1st shiftExpected hours: 45 per week.* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Paid holidays* Retirement planExperience:* CNC setup experience in mill or turn: 3 years minimum.Job Type: Full-timePay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 – 50 per weekBenefits:* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Profit sharingApplication Question(s):* Do you have at least 3 years of CNC operation and setup experience ?
