Team Member/Barista

Playland is a fun, safe and clean indoor playground that both children and adults enjoy. We host birthday parties, and have a full on-site cafe that offers food and drink choices for all of our guests. We are small local business and looking for FUN, POSITIVE, ENERGETIC, and RESPONSIBLE people to join our team!Weekend availability is required. Part time option available for weekends only.Responsiblities:* Greet and check in customers, handle cash register operations* Supervise play areas* Provide excellent customer service* Organize play area, keep toys neat and equipment clean* Basic food and beverage services* Train to be a barista* Maintain a clean work/play environment. SAFETY and CLEANLINESS are a priority.* Explain Playland facility rules* Answer phone calls, great communication skills are required* Handle and enforce waiver policies and rules* Assist with birthday parties services* Other duties as assignedQualifications:* 1 year of customer service experience* Cafe and/or entertainment center experience preferred* Must be at least 17 years old* Must be available to work most weekends* Ability to work in a noisy and fast-paced environment* Ability to multitask and stay organized* Ability to interact with children and adults, work cooperatively with others, and handle stressful situations* Physical requirements involve a combination of walking and standing.
