Our goal is to continue to implement programs that will help ensure we are conserving resources, properly managing waste and purchasing environmentally-friendly products when available.Kahn’s Catering is seeking qualified staff for our *setup team* to support the success of our operations department._Apply directly online at _or submit your resume in response to this posting and we will follow up with an invitation to complete our online application at the same link.__*We kindly ask that you refrain from phone calls currently.*_*Primary Responsibilities** Loading and unloading trucks, including use of rachet straps and lift gates* Moving/lifting heavy catering equipment* Setting tables with linen, china, glassware and silverware* Some landscaping, building maintenance, and all housekeeping at our Montage location* Clean, recover and maintain equipment_*Compensation & Benefits*_* $16-$22 per hour (Drivers will make $21/hour)_Benefits available for full time staff:_* 401(k) plan with company match* Health insurance* Paid time off* Café food discounts*Position Scheduling*This position is primarily daytime with nights/weekends based on the event schedule.* Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, must have Saturday availability* Possible extended hours based on the event calendar*Position Requirements** Previous experience in off-premise catering or related preferred.* Clean and eligible drivers license* Experience driving company vehicles and trucks strongly preferred.* Experience in setup and/or logistics is strongly preferred.* Ability to cooperatively work with a team in a physical job that requires repeated walking, bending and lifting entirety of shift.* Maintenance/repair skills, preferred.* Bilingual in both English and Spanish, preferred.* Ability to continuously stand, bend, reach, twist and lift repeatedly upwards of 50 lbs.* Must pass a background check to work in our venues.
