The Vault Catering in Tacoma is seeking Catering Kitchen Staff.We are looking for passionate food lovers who are willing to learn and work in a fast paced catering and food production team. Experience is preferred but we are willing to train anyone who is eager and has a positive attitude.This position will require much flexibility in your daily and weekly schedule. Staffing and shifts vary frequently based upon weekly events.Shifts will range from morning/daytime and weekend/evenings as needed for catered deliveries and onsite events.A valid driver’s license is required as you will be asked to transport product in company owned vehicles.JOB DESCRIPTION & DUTIESAssist the Executive Chef with daily operation of the kitchen to include:a. Food preparation and dishwashingb. On site event setup and food servicec. Daily deliveriesQUALIFICATIONS & PREFERRED EXPERIENCEValid Tacoma-Pierce County food workers cardAn eye for quality, cleanliness, presentation and time managementFlexible work schedule (workweeks vary frequently depending on events)Ability to work weekends and eveningsAble to load food into vehicles and assure all items are accounted forStrong communication and professionalism with team members and clientsMust have valid drivers license and feel comfortable driving larger vehicles and vansJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hourBenefits:* Flexible scheduleExperience:* Catering: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: Multiple locations
