Barista and Cashier

*Job Overview*We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team in creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, ensuring high-quality standards, and providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced café environment. Your role will be essential in fostering a welcoming atmosphere and maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the café.*Responsibilities** Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks according to established recipes.* Operate cash register and POS system efficiently to process customer transactions accurately.* Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist customers with their selections.* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in food preparation areas.* Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.* Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.* Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, syrups, and other supplies.* Participate in regular training sessions to enhance product knowledge and improve barista skills.*Requirements** Previous experience in a café or retail environment is preferred but not mandatory.* Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly atmosphere for patrons.* Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and understanding retail math concepts.* Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques is a plus; training will be provided for the right candidate.* Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.* Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when needed.* A passion for coffee and the café culture is highly desirable.Join us in delivering exceptional coffee experiences that delight our customers every day!Job Type: Part-timePay: From $15.00 per hourExpected hours: 10 – 25 per weekShift:* Day shift* Evening shift* Morning shiftApplication Question(s):* What days/times are you available to work?* What day are you available to start?Experience:* Barista: 1 year (Required)Ability to Commute:* Clermont, FL 34715 (Required)Work Location: In person
