OverviewThe Certified Voice Stress Analysis Examiner is a part-time or full-time position responsible for conducting voice stress analysis examinations to determine the veracity of statements made by individuals. The examiner will utilize specialized equipment and techniques to assess stress levels in a subject’s voice, providing crucial support in investigations for law enforcement, private sector, and other organizations.DescriptionClass Title:Certified Voice Stress Analysis ExaminerSalary:$35.00 - $40.00 Hourly*Job Summary:*The Certified Voice Stress Analysis Examiner is a part-time or full-time position responsible for conducting voice stress analysis examinations to determine the veracity of statements made by individuals. The examiner will utilize specialized equipment and techniques to assess stress levels in a subject’s voice, providing crucial support in investigations for law enforcement, private sector, and other organizations.*Distinguishing Characteristics:*Under direction of company supervision and management, the Certified Voice Stress Analysis Examiner coordinates and conducts voice stress analysis examinations, compiles findings, and performs related duties as designated by Palicon Group.*Essential Duties & Responsibilities:*The duties listed below are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed. Conduct voice stress analysis examinations on subjects to assess truthfulness.2. Analyze voice recordings using specialized software to detect stress and deception.3. Prepare detailed reports and case summaries documenting the findings of examinations.4. Coordinate with other investigators and law enforcement personnel to support ongoing investigations.5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of voice stress analysis techniques and best practices.6. Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of voice stress analysis equipment.7. Testify in court as an expert witness regarding the results of voice stress analysis examinations.8. Adhere to all legal and ethical guidelines in conducting examinations and reporting findings.*General Qualifications:*_Knowledge of:_1. Principles and techniques of voice stress analysis.2. Operation and maintenance of voice stress analysis equipment.3. Legal standards and ethical considerations in conducting investigative examinations.4. Confidentiality laws pertaining to investigative records and reports.5. Modern office equipment including computers and applicable software.6. Correct spelling and grammar for report writing.7. Sound safety practices.Ability to:1. Conduct accurate and reliable voice stress analysis examinations.2. Prepare clear and concise written reports.3. Analyze and interpret voice stress data to draw logical conclusions.4. Manage time effectively to complete work within stringent deadlines.5. Communicate effectively with subjects, colleagues, and clients.6. Maintain composure and professionalism in potentially stressful situations.7. Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and respect when dealing with individuals from diverse backgrounds.*Minimum Qualifications:**Education, Training, and Experience:*A typical way of obtaining the knowledge, skills, and abilities outlined above is graduation from high school or a G.E.D. equivalent.Possession of a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university is preferred.Certification in Voice Stress Analysis from a recognized accrediting body (e.g., National Institute for Truth Verification).Two (2) years of experience in law enforcement, private investigations, or a related field where the required aptitude, duties, and requirements are similar in scope and complexity.*Licenses, Certificates, Special Requirements:*A valid driver’s license and the ability to maintain insurability under the company’s insurance policy.Certification in Voice Stress Analysis from an accredited institution.*Physical Demands:*The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this class.
