Sanitation Specialist

*Job Summary*We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sanitation Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in our facility, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for food production and processing. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial cleaning, sanitation, or custodial work, particularly within the food manufacturing sector.*Responsibilities** Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of production areas, equipment, and tools to meet health and safety regulations.* Conduct daily inspections of cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure they are in proper working order.* Utilize appropriate cleaning methods and chemicals for various surfaces while adhering to safety protocols.* Assist in the implementation of sanitation procedures and schedules to maintain compliance with industry standards.* Collaborate with team members to identify areas needing additional attention or improvement in cleanliness.* Participate in training sessions on sanitation practices and safety measures relevant to food production environments.* Handle heavy lifting of cleaning equipment and materials as necessary.*Requirements** Previous experience in sanitation, industrial cleaning, or custodial roles is preferred.* Familiarity with food production or processing environments is a plus.* Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with cleaning duties.* Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.* Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, chemicals, and safety practices in a commercial setting.* Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.* Flexibility to work various shifts as needed within the operational hours of the facility.
