Landscaping Laborer

Landscaping laborers needed for local landscaping company handling residential and commercial grounds maintenance and specialized landscaping services. Experienced preferred, must have valid drivers license. Must be physically capable of working extensively in an outdoor environment in cold and hot conditions.The ideal candidate will be familiar with the safety and operation of the following equipment:* Mowers - riding, zero turn, walk-behind, & push.* Hand Tools - rakes, shovels, & pruners.* Backpack blower & sprayer, string trimmer, hard edgers.Requirements:Ability to lift up to 70 pounds regularly, frequently.* Ability to work with others and under supervision* Able to follow oral and/or written instructions from Supervisor or Crew Leader* Able to operate all maintenance equipment safely and proficiently* Able to work with environmental risks ( in heat/cold, bees, poison oak/ivy, etc.)* Must report equipment problems and failures to Supervisor immediately* Must conduct self in a professional manner at all times* Valid Driver's license requiredEXPERIENCE:A minimum of ONE (1) year experience with a professional landscaping company.Job Type: Full-timePay: $14.00 - $19.00 per hourBenefits:* Dental insurance* Health insuranceSchedule:* 10 hour shift* 8 hour shiftLicense/Certification:* Driver's License (Required)Ability to Commute:* Suffolk, VA 23435 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Suffolk, VA 23435: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
