Our most served markets include Aerospace, Military, Oil & Gas, Petro-Chemical and Tank Car.Uni-Form Components is a part of Marmon Holdings, Inc., a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway Inc.e are currently seeking a *Manufacturing Supervisor* who is safety-conscious and eager to learn and grow with our organization. This is a hands-on leadership role in a collaborative team environment where safety, quality, and continuous improvement are top priorities. *This role is primarily for 2nd shift, but we’re looking for someone who can be flexible and available to support other shifts or days as business needs arise.**Experience** Working in a plate processing, forging, or forming facility* Working with ASME Section 8 Div 1 forming and welding practices* Organizing material flow and inventory to reach production targets* Overseeing the health and safety of employees as well as ensuring quality processes and procedures are adhered to* Experience using lean tools such as 5S and Kaizen* Maintaining production schedules through effective supervision and coordination of direct reports* Identify problems and propose solutions and/or improvements* Control costs within their area of responsibility to include labor and shop supplies* Coaching and training employees and promote growth within the business*Skills and Education** High school diploma or equivalent* 2-3 years leading, coaching, and mentoring in an industrial facility* Excellent computer skills to include Microsoft Outlook and Excel* Critical thinking skills as well as the ability to manage their time and be detailed oriented* Listening and feedback skills to communicate with employees, peers, and others respectfully and effectively in the organizationWe are an equal opportunity employer, and all applicants will be considered for employment without attention to their membership in any protected class.
