We specialize in custom cakes and pastries made with care and creativity.Position OverviewWe're seeking a skilled Cake Decorating Assistant to join our dedicated team. This role involves the artistic preparation and decoration of custom cakes for our valued customers.Key Responsibilities* Production of buttercream and cake fillings* Building and crumb coating cakes* Finishing cake orders from start to finish* Covering cakes with fondant* 2D Fondant Characters* Maintaining a clean work station* Assisting customers in person and over the phone* Supporting both baking and cake decorating departments as neededRequirements* Proficiency with fondant application* Strong team player with excellent communication skills* Willingness to learn and attention to detail* Ability to lift 50 poundsSchedule* Shifts approximately 6-8 hours per day* 3-5 days a weekJoin our passionate team and help create beautiful, delicious cakes that make our customers' special moments even more memorable!Job Types: Part-time, ContractPay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hourSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Day shift* Holidays* Overtime* Weekends as neededExperience:* Professional fondant: 1 year (Required)* Professional Cake Decorator : 2 years (Required)* Bakery: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: In person
