Bittersweet is a terribly wonderful cocktail and dessert lounge with an all-natural, seasonal menu. In addition to dessert and booze we offer a full coffee menu with fresh beans and an espresso machine. Just last year we were nominated for Outstanding Bar by James Beard Foundation.We are on the hunt for curious, motivated individuals who love working in the service industry. Specifically we are looking to hire a part time bartender/server for around 25hrs a week. New hires will be have bartending and serving shifts each week. This position could easily grow to a full time commitment if desired.MUST LIST* Honest and professional* 21 or older* 4+ years in the service industry* 2+ years bartending experience* Friday, Saturday, Sunday availability* Ability to foster a bar atmosphere that is hospitable and fun* Familiarity with downtown Raleigh bars, restaurants, and social events* Knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, wine* Table service experience* Career goals and passionsEXTRA CREDIT* knowledge of desserts / baking* Barista training and experience* Servsafe Certified (if not, we will provide)* Bar Smarts certified (if not, we will provide)Bittersweet is an amazing place to work!
