Lute Man

*ob Description:*We are currently seeking a skilled *Lute Man* with *3–5 years of experience* to join our paving crew. The ideal candidate will be responsible for raking, smoothing, and finishing asphalt surfaces to ensure proper grade and texture. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment.*Responsibilities:** Use lute to level and smooth freshly laid asphalt* Assist with setting up job sites and traffic control* Communicate effectively with screed operator, roller operator, and foreman* Rake excess material to ensure a smooth finished product* Follow all safety guidelines and procedures* Perform minor equipment maintenance as needed* Work in various weather conditions and extended hours when required*Requirements:** *3–5 years of proven experience as a Lute Man in asphalt paving** Strong understanding of paving techniques and tools* *Valid driver's license with a 7-year clean driving record** Reliable transportation to and from job sites* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods* Team player with strong work ethic* Ability to pass a pre-employment drug testWe are a Drug Free Workplace & an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Health savings account* Life insurance* On-the-job training* Paid time off* Tools provided* Tuition reimbursement* Vision insuranceApplication Question(s):* This role requires a clean 7 year driving record.
