We’re currently looking for an experienced *Water Mitigation Technician* to join our team.*Position Summary:*As a Water Mitigation Technician, you will be responsible for responding to water damage emergencies in residential and commercial properties. You'll perform mitigation services including water extraction, equipment setup, moisture monitoring, and detailed documentation.*Responsibilities:** Respond to emergency water damage calls and arrive on-site in a timely manner* Extract water using industry-standard equipment* Set up and monitor drying equipment such as dehumidifiers and air movers* Document daily job progress with moisture readings, photos, and job notes* Perform demolition as needed (drywall, flooring, trim, etc.)* Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and team members* Maintain and clean equipment, tools, and vehicles* Participate in an on-call rotation for nights and weekends*Requirements:** Minimum *1 year of hands-on water mitigation experience* required* Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record* Ability to lift 50+ lbs, perform physically demanding tasks, and work in confined spaces* Strong attention to detail and time management skills* Excellent communication and customer service abilities* IICRC certification preferred but not required* Ability to pass background check and drug screening*What We Offer:** Competitive hourly wage + overtime + performance bonuses* Health, dental, and vision insurance (eligibility after 90 days)* Paid time off and holidays* Training and advancement opportunities* A professional and supportive team environmentJob Type: Full-timePay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 – 60 per weekBenefits:* 401(k)* Health insurance* Paid time offSchedule:* On call* Overtime* Rotating shift* Rotating weekends* Weekends as needed* Year round workSupplemental Pay:* Overtime payShift availability:* Day Shift (Required)* Night Shift (Required)Ability to Commute:* Chicago, IL 60634 (Required)Work Location: In person
