General Farm Labor on Family Crop Farm

*Job Summary*We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Farm Laborer to join our mid-sized family farm operation. The ideal candidate will have a passion for corn and soybean farming with the ability to perform various tasks that contribute to the overall productivity of our farm. This role involves physical labor, including some heavy lifting, working longer hours seasonally and requires a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality in all farm operations.*Responsibilities** Assist in daily farm operations, including planting and harvesting crops.* Operate and maintain farm equipment safely and efficiently.* Ensure cleanliness and organization of work areas to promote a safe working environment.* Participate in the maintenance of machinery, fences, barns, and other farm structures.* Has the ability to work on projects with or without help.*Skills** Basic knowledge of growing techniques for various crops and plants.* The ability to work well with others.* Possess or has the ability to attain a CDL license to haul grain.* Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and effectively as well as climb grain bins to open and close lids.* Basic math skills for performing calculations related to farming tasks.Join our team as a Farm Laborer where your contributions will help sustain our agricultural practices while providing you with valuable experience in the field!Job Type: Full-timePay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hourExpected hours: 35 – 40 per weekWork Location: In person
