Inc.Maintenance Technician II_Wage Range: 28.00-34.00_*Hours: Monday-Friday 5:00AM-2:30PM**Role and Responsibilities*A Facility Maintenance Technician II is responsible for performing skilled maintenance, repair, and fine-tuning of equipment, tools, and systems used for architectural millwork fabrication and complex mechanical, electrical, and physical structures. This includes maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical components and electrical systems according to standard operating procedures (SOPs), internal requirements, manufacturer specifications, and safety policies.*Key duties include:** Performing preventative maintenance and routine repairs on systems and equipment.* Conducting regular safety and maintenance inspections to assess equipment and identify any wear or damage.* Using technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics to install, troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair equipment.* Developing and implementing maintenance procedures, as well as planning and scheduling repairs.* Conducting periodic checks on equipment and systems to ensure they meet standards.Additionally, the Facility Maintenance Technician II works independently within established procedures related to their specific job function and has gained proficiency in multiple competencies. They work under the close direction of a maintenance supervisor or manager.QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSHigh school diploma or equivalent; Building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus.REQUIRED SKILLS* Hazard awareness and knowledge of isolation practices Example: Lock-out Tag-out* PPE understanding use and requirements_._* Using CMMS or paper records to log maintenance work.* Hand Tool dexterity* Power tool dexterity* Able maintain and keep track of personal tooling Example: change cartages in Grease guns, blades in cutters, disks in grinders.* Tape measure proficiency read all increments of an inch in a 1/16”* Lubrication Proficiency and Recognition of fill points and Grease zerks* Proficient on repetitive disassembly and reassembly of mechanical items* Knowledge and proficiency of parts ordering process_T.M.
