Screen Printing Manager

All-Stars Gear is a growing custom apparel company located in Hamburg, NY, just 20 minutes south of Buffalo, that is looking to hire an experienced leader for our Screen Printing Department. The Production Manager will work with a team of 7+ employees focused on decorating high quality custom apparel with quick turnaround times. The ideal candidate for this position has several years of management experience and takes ownership of their areas of responsibility, feels comfortable creating and implementing new processes and procedures, and is an effective communicator always focused on developing their team. This role is required to be in-person, daily, at our production facility. Also, this is not an office job; this role is physically demanding and requires an individual that is willing to be on their feet working hand-in-hand with their team every day.RequirementsResponsibilities:* Work with a team of 7+ employees to create the highest quality products on time, often at a fast pace* Focus on continually training and developing a great team of people* Create and implement processes and procedures that maximize the efficiency of the department while maintaining the highest quality standards* Create and maintain a culture of positivity – we want our leaders to reflect that environment while still ensuring company goals are accomplished.* Managing daily and weekly schedules* Meeting KPIs set forth by the business* Evaluating the performance of team members and feeling comfortable giving clear and consistent feedback regularlyMeasures of success:* Customer satisfaction – specifically the quality and accuracy of the orders* Speed of order fulfillment* Creating and maintaining a culture of positivity, accuracy, and efficiency* Process implementation and improvement* Effective communication within own department and within other company departments to impact positive changeQualifications:* 3+ years of leadership experience managing groups of people (5+ employees) successfully* Prior screen printing experience required* Experience creating and implementing processes and routines that increase efficiency* An extremely proficient communicator that approaches their team with a servant leadership mentality* Proven leadership track record coaching and developing a team* Proactively recognizes potential conflicts and takes steps to diffuse the situation before it happens* Comfortable working in a production facility and being on your feet for the duration of the workday* Comfortable working on-site daily; there is zero remote work opportunities with this role* Comfortable working with autonomy – this position reports to the Production Manger and General Manager, but the day-to-day execution of the department is the responsibility of the Screen Printing ManagerBenefits* Competitive Salary* Paid Time Off* Bonuses* Casual Work EnvironmentAbout UsAll-Stars Gear is a leading provider of customized apparel.
