*Job Title: *FYPS Program Supervisor*Location: *535 Clinton Ave, Brooklyn, New York 11238*Who We Are: *Community Counseling & Mediation (CCM) is a leading Brooklyn-based behavioral health organization committed to addressing the root causes and problems associated with mental illness, substance abuse, and alcohol abuse. As an innovative, community-based social service organization, CCM provides a wide range of social support, counseling, health, mental health, education, and supportive housing services to at-risk children, youth, and families in some of the most impoverished minority-populated areas of Brooklyn. With a history dating back to 1982, CCM has grown to serve over 25,000 individuals and families annually across Brooklyn and Manhattan. The organization operates over 75 programs and has become a key provider of culturally sensitive mental health services alongside educational, health, and social activities.*Position Overview: *Oversee the management of all family and youth peer support services; hire, direct and supervise program staff; plan and coordinate services and quality improvement activities; monitor program budget; support use of data systems to assure quality; gather and analyze data to strengthen program operations and represent the program at advisory committee meetings. Follow all assignments given by the Alliance Coordinator. This includes, but not limited to, completing monthly, quarterly, and yearly DOHMH reports by the deadline given by the Alliance Coordinator and Data Analyst. The supervisor will ensure the LOS report is completed by the date given by the Alliance Coordinator and Data Analyst.*Responsibilities:** *Personnel:** Hire for open positions* Onboard new staff* Review and enforce tasks and standards as stated in the job description* Supervise Advocates on a consistent and regular basis* *Oversight:** Monitor program budget* Monitor and track program outcomes; including capacity, hours worked (advocates)* Distribute new cases to advocates appropriately as they come in* Review Advocates’ caseload including completion of goals, appropriate referrals, and discharges* Ensure parenting and youth groups and individual services are being provided* Ensure advocates are referring cases, that meet eligibility requirements, to CFTSS programs* Implement outreach efforts and activities as outlined in Alliance Outreach Plan; delegate activities appropriately* Ensure ALL FYPS activities (outreach, goals, notes, discharge, intake, groups) are documented in Maven within 48 hours of occurrence* Timely submission of all reports (Monthly, Quarterly, LOS and other as specified by AC)* *Community Engagement:** Actively promote FYPS program and services whenever possible* Attend all mandatory meetings* Ensure staff participates in community, family support, and mental health committees and boards* Plan community events and ensure they meet the needs and concerns of the families and communities* *Quality Improvement:** Plan and coordinate quality improvement activities* Gather and analyze data to strengthen program operations* Ensure services and outreach are conducted to the fidelity of the FYPS model and Alliance structure* Ensure that ALL notes and activities are properly documented in Maven and signed off on*Qualifications:*Experience Requirement (Option 1):* Minimum of 3 years as a Family Peer Advocate or Youth Peer Advocate* Expertise in navigating the children’s mental health and other child-serving systems* Minimum of 3 years of experience supervising Peers, Community Health Workers, or similar positionsExperience Requirement (Option 2):* Minimum of 5 years as a Family Peer Advocate or Youth Peer Advocate* OR demonstrated expertise navigating the children’s mental health and other child-serving systemsLived Experience Requirement (Option 3):* Parent or guardian with lived experience advocating for a child within child-serving systemsLived Experience Requirement (Option 4):* Youth with first-hand experience with one or more of the following:- Social, emotional, medical, developmental, substance use, and/or behavioral health challenges- Experience receiving mental health services and/or navigating child-serving systemsAdditional Skills:* Ability to gather, analyze, and submit data and reports* Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with standard office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, email)Job Type: Full-timePay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per yearBenefits:* 403(b)* Dental insurance* Flexible spending account* Health insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceAbility to Commute:* Brooklyn, NY 11238 (Required)Work Location: In person
